Nick began his real estate career with Vancouver based commercial brokerage Goddard & Smith International Realty Inc. shortly after graduating from BCIT's Marketing Management program with a specialization in real estate and first becoming a licensed commercial realtor in the 1990's.
After his involvement in the sale of BC Gas Building (1111 West Georgia Street, Vancouver) by Manulife to TA Properties of Malaysia for $91 million, Nick moved to South Africa to manage TA's property acquisition and development program, based in Johannesburg, from 1996 through 1999.
In 2000, Nick relocated to London, England and joined Kenningtons Chartered Surveyors as an agency surveyor, acquiring and selling commercial real estate for private and corporate clients throughout the UK.
Nick was recruited by one of his clients as Property Director of the private-equity backed Cambian Group, where he worked from 2005 until 2011 acquiring and developing healthcare assets and schools across the UK.
